SemanticService-RegistryAPI

Brief Introduction

The SemanticRegistryAPI is an API and a framework for development and operation of web-services on a java platform. It especially focuses on an API for discovery of Web Services that implements the connection with different service discovery engines like UDDI.

The project falls into two parts:
One part builds an generic API in order to allow semantic retrieval of web services, based on OWL-S (OWL-S is an OWL ontology for the semantic description of web services, see www.daml.org/services).

The second part is the implementation of that API in order to use UDDI for storing of OWL-S service descriptions.

Other implementations of the API for other registries may follow.

The source code is licenced under the GPL for non commercial applications. For use in commercial applications please contact the author. Anyway, please read carefully the licence. Click here for the projects summary page.
