Brief Introduction
The SemanticRegistryAPI is an API and a framework for development
and operation of web-services on a java platform. It especially
focuses on an API for discovery of Web Services that implements
the connection with different service discovery engines like
UDDI.
The project falls into two parts:
One part builds an generic API in order to allow semantic
retrieval of web services, based on OWL-S (OWL-S is an OWL
ontology for the semantic description of web services, see
www.daml.org/services).
The second part is the implementation of that API in order
to use UDDI for storing of OWL-S service descriptions.
Other implementations of the API for other registries may
follow.
The source code is licenced under the GPL for non commercial
